Paul believes the strongest stories are the ones that make people feel something real.

Whether directing a global campaign, developing a brand platform or creating an independent short film, he approaches every project as a complete emotional experience. Drawing from his background as both filmmaker and musician, he naturally brings together concept, performance, cinematography, music and sound into one unified vision where every creative choice serves the same emotional purpose.

People are at the heart of Paul’s filmmaking. One of his greatest strengths lies behind the camera, where his calm confidence, warmth and positive energy create an atmosphere in which actors, real people and first-time performers feel genuinely safe to be themselves. His ability to build trust and capture authentic human connection has become one of the defining characteristics of his work, resulting in emotionally honest performances that stay with audiences long after they’ve watched them.

With more than 40 international awards across film and advertising, Paul has built an international reputation for emotionally powerful storytelling. His short film Mirrors received the Special Prize at the

World Health Organization’s Health for All Film Festival in recognition of its exceptional emotional storytelling, while the multi-award-winning Indigohelped establish his distinctive cinematic voice.

Having lived and worked in New York, Los Angeles and Stockholm, Paul has collaborated with global brands including IKEA, H&M, SAS, GANT, Nordea, WHO, The Swedish Red Cross, Gina Tricot, Life and Mathem. His recent global brand film for Arrive, shot in Lisbon, reflects his directing style at its best, optimistic, human-centered and visually uplifting, capturing the beauty of everyday life through natural light, movement and emotional storytelling.

Mental health and the human experience are recurring themes throughout Paul’s work. Rather than telling people what to feel, Paul creates stories that invite audiences to see themselves in others. His films don’t simply communicate, they create emotional experiences that linger.

Alongside filmmaking, music remains an essential part of Paul’s creative process. As one half of the dream pop duo Falcor, he continues to explore how music, image and emotion can come together to create unforgettable stories.
